Patient Services Manager

The Reproductive Health Group is a leading, innovative, comprehensive health service, committed to providing the highest quality care in Gynaecology, Reproductive medicine and surgery, and Urology. In April 2014 we opened our state-of-the-art Centre, and the first of its kind integrated fertility and day-case hospital, at Daresbury Park in Cheshire. The Centre offers patients the highest level of personalised care and support throughout their fertility journey.

With the expansion of our services the Reproductive Health Group are seeking to appoint an experienced Patient Services Manager to join our senior management team. The successful applicant must be personable, hard-working, have excellent communication skills and be a ‘team-player’.

Reports to Clinical Director
  • The Patient Services Manager is responsible for converting leads/enquiries, maintaining patient satisfaction by providing non-medical patient services, problem solving, training and managing patient facing sales and administrative staff.
  • Responsibility for overall facilities and office management.
  • Ensure the best possible quality individualised care is given to all patients undergoing treatment at RHG and satellite clinics.
  • Become a proactive member of the RHG team, offering support to the consultants and the management team in the maintenance of the highest standards of governance and patient care.
Qualifications, required attributes and experience
  • You will be an excellent leader, communicator and team worker.
  • Motivated, enthusiastic and flexible attitude towards work and ability to work hours that are flexible to service needs.
  • Previous experience in a patient services/customer relationship managerial role or equivalent is desirable
Responsibilities and objectives
  • Manage Front of House, Secretarial and Patient Relationship Executive teams.
  • Ensure effective conversion of patient enquiries into booked consultations.
  • Ensuring daily running of RHG services and delivering high quality patient care.
  • Develop and review relevant policies, processes and SOPs.
  • Auditing and Weekly reporting.
  • Responsible for maintenance, security and scheduled work for premises.
  • Responsible for stationery and IT.
  • Responsible for Human Resources.
  • Review and update service contracts.
  • Write patient information leaflets, disseminate marketing material and promote new offers.
  • Supporting administrative and clinical staff in the delivery of care, providing education, training and mentorship to meet development needs.
  • Able to prioritise own workload and that of others as appropriate.
  • Able to work under own initiative within boundaries of role.
  • Demonstrates awareness of importance of working as part of a team.
  • Demonstrates ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Demonstrates evidence of commitment to professional development.
  • Able to communicate effectively verbally and written to staff, patients and members of the clinical team.
  • Represent RHG team at events
Salary Commensurate with experience and qualifications
Hours 37.5 hours per week
