Obstetrician and Gynaecologist
Dr Jayeeta Samanta is an obstetrician and gynaecologist who has specialised in subfertility and reproductive health. She completed her training initially in obstetrics and gynaecology in India and then from Saint Mary’s Hospital, Manchester, UK. She had undergone her subspeciality training in Reproductive Medicine in India, and has completed advanced training in Subfertility and Reproductive Health under the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK. She is a British Fertility Society certified specialist in Assisted Conception, Pelvic ultrasound, Male Fertility and Quality Management of a Fertility Clinic, and has extensive experience in this field of over 10 years. She has worked with several flagship IVF teams in India, including that of the legendary Bourn Hall Clinic in Kochi, India, andis currently working at Saint Mary’s Hospital, Manchester. She has several publications and has presented her work widely in national and international conferences. Her special interests include female fertility problems and three-dimensional ultrasound. She is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, British Fertility Society and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology.
Outside work Dr Samanta is a busy Mum of 2 who loves to cook and travel.
