Women’s Health & Wellness Expo

Women’s Health & Wellness Expo

Last night saw the inaugural RHG Women’s Health & Wellness Expo at The Mere Golf & Spa Resort in Knutsford, Cheshire.

A hugely successful evening saw 15 exhibitors from across the Cheshire region come together to showcase everything from health, beauty and fitness, to fashion and family law.

Guests at the event were treated to presentations and demonstrations from the exhibitors, could browse popup shops and some even enjoyed a facial. Early feedback from our guests was very positive and we are hoping to welcome back everybody who attended, including the exhibitors, for an even more successful Expo next year.

Most importantly, all proceeds from the evening are going to contribute towards IVF treatments for cancer patients at The Christie.

We would also like to highlight the work being done by Lynette Page-Collin and Rachel O’Hare, from Elle For Elle, who support women’s refuges by providing them with essentials such as haircare, body-care & cosmetics. You can support them too by donating unused products, which will be redistributed to those in need across the North West. Learn more here about Elle For Elle.

Thank you to all who attended. Here are some photos from the evening.

1st RHG Women’s Health and Wellness Expo

We’re delighted to be hosting the 1st RHG Women’s Health and Wellness Expo at The Mere, Knutsford, on 14th November,  5pm – 10pm.

Joining us for this fun evening will be a collection of local organisations all with an interest in women’s health and lifestyle, from fashion and beauty to family law. Already confirmed to be attending are Altrincham-based Renovatio, who offer a  range of surgical and non-surgical beauty treatments using state of the art technology, and Myerson Solicitors who are experts in family law. There will also be a raffle offering the chance to win some fantastic prizes.

Most importantly all proceeds from the event will be helping towards the cost of 2 IVF cycles or egg freezing cycles for patients of The Christie.

The Expo will also be hosting a cosmetic amnesty inviting guests attending to donate basics such as toothpaste, hairbrushes, face wipes, sanitary items or make-up for charity Elle4Elle who distribute these basic needs to women in the Cheshire area living in refuge having been subject to domestic abuse.

Tickets cost just £10 per person and include a glass of prosecco and canapes:

RHG 4th Anniversary

We are delighted to announce this year’s anniversary party will be held on Sunday, 1st July 2018 at the Centre for Reproductive Health, Cheshire. Our Open Day will mark the 4th anniversary of the opening of our Cheshire clinic and provides the perfect opportunity for patients past and present to get together and show off their littles ones to the team that helped them along their journey.

Our previous ‘birthday’ parties have been a huge success and we expect this year’s to be no different. Once again refreshments will be provided – including ice cream from our local Daresbury Dairy – and there will be an entertainment show for the younger guests. Here are a few comments following parties from previous years…

‘Thanks so much for a lovely party yesterday – we loved bringing Jacob along to meet everyone! Thank you for the invite to the party. We had a lovely time and it was great to see the people again who helped create our little boy. ‘

‘We really enjoyed the party and meeting up with Dr Nardo again and his colleagues. It was a very special day as we could introduce our son James to Dr Nardo and you all.’

‘What an amazing day and a great opportunity to meet and speak to other patients and see all the success that RHG are enjoying. It was great to finally introduce our daughter to the team that created her and an opportunity for us to take some pictures to add to her memory box.’

The party will take place on Sunday, 1st July between 12pm and 3pm and all of our patients new and old, their friends, family and of course their babies are all very welcome. We would also welcome anyone who is considering fertility treatment and would like to view our facilities, meet our team and talk to patients who have been through similar experiences.

If you would like to attend the event, simply RSVP via the form below. If you have any queries about the event, please email Annette Eckersley at aeckersley@reproductivehealthgroup.co.uk.

Fertility specialists assemble in Cheshire

Earlier this month we welcomed some of the leading experts in the world of fertility to our Cheshire IVF & fertility clinic for the 2nd International RHG Congress.

The two day event was titled ‘From laboratory bench to live birth‘ and was aimed at learning, discussing and debating some of the most important aspects of current laboratory and clinical practice leading to a healthy live born baby.

The programme included presentations and debates from distinguished delegates from Spain, Austria, Belgium, Holland, Germany and of course the UK.

Topics ranged from ovarian stimulation, lifestyle & diet, sperm selection, egg storage and embryo development, which individually are all key to not just helping couples achieve a pregnancy, but to achieving a successful healthy birth.

This years event was hugely successful and demonstrates the far reaching respect our Cheshire based Centre for Reproductive Health maintains within the fertility community.

We also welcomed representatives from MERCK, Vitrolife, Sophia Genetics, Finox, IMT International and Besins Healthcare, who provide some of the very latest equipment & technology in world of fertility and women’s health.

We had many complimentary comments about the meeting itself, the programme and our facilities.

  • Very informative, learnt a lot
  • Perfect organisation and nice meeting
  • I very much enjoyed attending the conference and also the dinner
  • Outstanding organisation
  • It was a real pleasure and nice experience for me to take part in
  • A tremendously well organised meeting yet again!

We would like to thank all of the patients, guests and local businesses that made yesterday’s 2nd birthday party a day to truly remember.

The turnout was fantastic and it was lovely to see so many friendly faces and meet all of your beautiful children. It was hugely rewarding to see so many happy families who we have helped and naturally grown close to over the last couple of years. It was a very special moment for all involved and will be remembered with pride for years to come.

It was also a pleasure to co-incide the anniversary with Father’s Day and share in the joy of many guests enjoying their very first Father’s Day.

The day also saw the prize draw for three lucky couples who have won free cycles of IVF and we look forward to welcoming them for treatment at the Centre for Reproductive Health in the coming weeks and months.

As well as our guests, we would like to thank a number of local businesses and business owners who helped us on the day, providing catering and entertainment for the little ones. These included:

  • Emma from Daresbury Dairy
  • Jordan from Jordy’s Pizza
  • Chris and Louisa from CNC Catering
  • Magic Quentin

Feedback from the event was particularly pleasing…

‘What better way to celebrate my husbands first Fathers Day than helping celebrate Reproductive Health Group’s 2nd year anniversary! Without your help, it simply would not have not been possible. What an amazing day and a great opportunity to meet and speak to other patients and see all the success that RHG are enjoying. It was great to finally introduce our daughter to the team that created her and an opportunity for us to take some pictures to add to her memory box. Thank you for the bear, we’ve decided to call him Bert! A perfect day! Thank you!’

‘Thanks Annette we had a great time. It was nice to see all the happy couples and their little ones. Must be so rewarding for you and your colleagues to see. It was also nice for us to see Dr Nardo & the other medical staff that assisted us and for them to meet our little boy’

‘Thank you for inviting us to the Anniversary Party. It was a lovely occasion and great to finally introduce our two little ones to Mr Nardo after all this time! We also had a chance to look round the Centre, which is just fantastic and just what women need I think – a truly integrated fertility service’

We look forward to welcoming you all again next year to join us for our 3rd anniversary, when we hope to have the opportunity to meet many more families that we help over the next 12 months.
